Friday, July 21, Stephen Douglas Wolfe makes his return to the stage at Funk n Waffles. He’ll be supporting Amanda Rogers and June Star. June Star has been playing together for a couple decades and though there have been a few changes in personnel, Andrew Grimm has remained the constant. The band was started in 1998 and has 16 records out, extensive touring experience and stories to go along with the time on the road.
Amanda Rogers currently has 15 records out on Bandcamp, an impressive following in Europe where her tours have been highly successful and has shared the stage with Stephen Douglas Wolfe many times through the years.
The first show of 2023 for SDW at 95X Locals Only Fest marked the return of Stephen Douglas Wolfe to playing live. With a new record in the works, the single Thoughts & Prayers out Friday, July 14 and a desire to do some touring, this will be the first show where Stephen Douglas Wolfe gets to play a full set of old favorites and unreleased songs.
