Aux Records was started on the Syracuse University campus in 2003.  We've released records and managed artists that have toured internationally, played Warped Tour, Bamboozle and MTV. After a few decades we are still at it supporting artists who have traditionally been tied to Central New York, though we have expanded to work with artists we love from across the country. If you think we should hear your music, reach out to say hello. Please don't attach your files but send links - Spotify, Apple Music or SoundCloud links are preferred.

We are currently adding management clients to the roster. What do we look for? First off we must love the music. Beyond that, we prefer artists that have some established audience, the interest and ability to tour and artists that are stable in their lineup.

With 25+ years of experience in the music business, teaching music business courses at Syracuse University and speaking at conferences nationally (SXSW, Launch Music Conference, Vegas Music Summit, MEIEA Summit, TEDx & many more) Ulf Oesterle is also available as a consultant for one-on-one perspectives or to contribute on a project by project basis. His expertise is in social media strategies, particularly TikTok where as a creator he has about 350 million views of his original content, music analytics and marketing.
